Finned Coils
This type of exchangers are use for those processes that requires changes in air conditions. Depending the purpose,
fluids such as water, glycol, thermal fluid, steam or refrigerants may be used.

Generally speaking, finned coils can be grouped intro four types: with helicoidal or straight blades mounted on round
tubes; and with helicoidal or straight blades mounted on elliptical tubes.
Copper and copper alloys, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and combinations of these metals are some of the
construction materials available.
To increase or improve life of the fin-tube contact area different surface treatments are available. Every pressure and
temperature range can be properly met by selecting the header or frame best suitable for the working environment.
Upon request, these units can be fitted with fans, and the assembly mounted on a metal housing, thus providing a self
supporting unit.

Air conditioning, refrigeration services, drying plants, thermal fluids, condensation, power output, chemical industry,
petrochemical industry, siderurgy and industrial applications in general.
